May 2026 Newsletter

Dear friends of Love the Wild Foundation...

As Summer brings longer days and warmer evenings, our team is busy preparing for a season full of connection—with nature, with wildlife, and with each other. Thank you for standing with us as we work to protect wild places and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Thank you!

First we would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who donated to us through Idaho Gives. Your support means we can continue to make a positive impact in our community through environmental education and sustainability focused initiatives.

Thank you for supporting our mission!

Here’s what’s coming up:

 1. Idaho Falls Public Library Book readings and giveaways (first Wednesday of June and July)

Join us at IFPL for a book reading and FREE book giveaway on Wednesday June 3rd at 10:30 am and again Wednesday July 1st at 10:30am

2. Block Party with Community Youth in Action

The CYA Teen Center is a spot to hang out, learn, and have fun. Everything they offer is completely free. We are excited to join them with a book booth on July 22nd at Kate Curley Park, and July 29th at Esquire Park for their summer block parties!

The purpose of the block party is to build community by helping neighbors know their neighbors, and also to educate our community about free community resources.

These events are perfect for kids, teens, and community members looking to socialize and build relationships in their community.

In Africa...

This month we gave over 60 Green Kids Club books to children in Namibia Schools!

There our books are cherished educational resources for the next generation of stewards of the planet. We hope to continue providing them to the children in the future with your support.

Think we can be a part of your classroom?

We are looking to collaborate and connect with more students in South-East Idaho. We come to your classroom to present book readings, environmental education lessons, and activities. Primarily for students 5-12 years old but we can adjust for your needs.

Reach out to our coordinator through email if you're interested!

Thank You

Your support fuels everything we do—from restoring habitats to inspiring children who will carry this work into the future. As we head into summer, we’re grateful to have you as part of the Love the Wild Foundation community.

With gratitude and hope,

The Love the Wild Foundation Team
