Love the Wild Foundation is going to be sponsoring 10 students from various schools around Idaho Falls to attend a 4-day program in June. This trip would be fully paid for by Love the Wild and is open to any student in 8th, 9th, and 10th grade in Idaho Falls and Ammon.
On this trip students would perform field research and create presentations based on their findings, tracking, hiking, exploration, and even canoeing. |
Trip Information
We will leave Idaho Falls on June 16th to arrive at Teton Science Schools campus at 1:00 pm and depart from the campus on June 19th at 12:00 pm. Students will spend their days performing field research, tracking, projects, hikes, and more. Students will have lodging on Jackson Campus and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided to them. It's important to note that students would have to hike for at least 2 miles at a time at altitudes of 6,000 - 9,000 feet unassisted. This trip while expected to be educational and fun, may be physically demanding.
Attending this trip you are expected to bring: Linens (sheets, blankets, pillowcase, sleeping bags, etc.), cloths, and toiletries.
